Important Update for Prospective Applicants

The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) will introduce a new Expression of Interest (EOI) system starting September 30, 2024. This new system will replace the current application process, leading to the discontinuation of all remaining scheduled application acceptance dates for the rest of 2024.

Key Changes:

  • New EOI System: Applicants will now need to submit an Expression of Interest. This submission will be assessed to determine eligibility and to extend invitations for further application.
  • Discontinuation of Scheduled Dates: With the shift to the EOI system, the AAIP will no longer accept applications on previously scheduled dates.

This strategic update is designed to streamline the selection process, making it more efficient and aligned with the province's evolving immigration needs. Prospective applicants should adjust their plans accordingly to ensure they are prepared for the new system's launch.

Stay informed and prepare for the transition to the new EOI system to enhance your chances in Alberta’s immigration program.
