Express Entry Draw : CRS cut off 75 - Valentine's Day Gift!

Overview 

IRCC on February 13, 2021 did a Canadian Experience Class specific express entry draw with a cut off score of 75 only!

The total number of invitations issued were 27,332. This is the lowest ever CEC cut off. Usually IRCC invites around 5,000 candidates per draw however this one is over 5 times the average number of invitations.

Canadian Experience Class

Canadian Experience Class defines applicants who have Canadian work experience of at least 1 year in a skilled job among other requirements. 

IRCC has been focusing on inviting more CEC candidates since the start of the pandemic since they are mostly inside Canada and integrate easily with the economy and culture.

Is this real or a glitch?

The great news is that this is REAL! IRCC released a press note confirming this draw here. 

Although the pandemic has been challenging for all, it would certainly bring happiness to those CEC candidates who were sitting at a low CRS score.
